It's a new season at the Educational Alliance! Many of our programs are starting up again for the fall, offering art classes, health & wellness, kids' activities and more. Some are hosting open houses to kick off the year. Here's the rundown:
OPENgreenHOUSE at the Y
Sunday 9/18 @ 10:00AM-3:00PM
The 14th Street Y is taking their annual open house to greener pastures. Grab the kids and head to the East Village for recycled arts & crafts, Urban Oasis featuring eco-friendly vendors, a solar-powered DJ and kids concert on the roof. Go green!
Center for Balanced Living Open House
Monday 9/26 @ 1:00-4:00PM
Are you 55+ and looking to get fit? Our Center for Balanced Living might be the place for you. Stop by the open house to try out a fitness class and check out healthy cooking demos, group meditation exercises and free refreshments.
Fall Art Classes at the Art School
Beginning Monday 9/26
Add some creativity to your life this fall. The Art School offers an array of affordable classes -- including painting, ceramics, photography and sculpture. Art School members also get access to free open studio time and special workshops.
