New Health & Wellness Program for NYC's Baby Boomers (55+) This Fall, we're launching our brand new Center for Balanced Living, an innovative, holistic approach to health & wellness specifically designed for baby boomers (adults 55 and up)
This new program will offer: personalized wellness plans, 1-on-1 health assessments, and daytime, evening and weekend classes including yoga, cardio, strength training, dance, tai chi, swimming, relaxation, nutrition & more!

Art Classes for Adults & Kids
Renew your spirit and explore your creative side with an art class this Fall at the Art School.
Our FREE Open House will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at 6:00pm - 8:30pm. Come by to learn about courses, talk with teachers, and watch art demos of various techniques. Classes start September 27th, and course offerings include ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, welding & much more.
And for those art-loving youngsters, our Young Artists Program for kids ages 10-19 is a great opportunity to develop skills and a portfolio.

Back to School: Preschool Applications Available for 2011-2012
Back to School time is upon us, and it's never too early to start thinking about preschool for next year!
The Educational Alliance Preschool, located on the Lower East Side, offers a caring, safe & affordable experience for kids ages "almost 2" to 4 years old. In the East Village, the 14th Street Y Preschool provides a nurturing educational environment within a vibrant community center. The Y Preschool will begin accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year on August 31st, and you can download the application here. |
