On A Personal Note

Welcome back to another edition of W.O.W. ezine. This month I finally broke the mold and got with the new technology. Although I don't like the way I look in front of a camera-who does-I have made the leap.

You will find that I have incorporated Audio/Video into this ezine, via YouTube, in the Monthly Tip Section. Let me know what you think. Love it? Hate it?

Wishing you a God filled day!

How Affectionately Do You Kiss Your Business

I recently read a quote by Albert Einstein that got me thinking about how I treat my business. "Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves." How do we treat our businesses? Are we giving them all the attention of a quick peck or do they receive our full attention?

What does this long, slow, all-encompassing attention equate to for your business? If you are going through the motions on auto-pilot you obviously are short changing your business. Not only that, but your customers may feel neglected or slighted in the process.

It is easy to get into a routine after years of doing repetitive tasks. However, that also leaves us passionless. So to put the passion back into your business try something fun and new. Find a new product or service that will revive your hum drums.

If you can't handle even one more offering there are other ways you can liven things up. Think marketing. Whether you implement a new campaign or celebrate your customers with an open house type event, just the break in routine itself will help you to put the spark back into your business.

Maybe you could use a Weird & Wacky Holiday as a means of doing some fun activity. Get together with complimentary business owners and sponsor a charity event. These are but a few quick ideas for you to ponder.

Now that I've got you thinking I am sure you can come up with a way to liven up your business. You might even surprise yourself and gain some new business in the process.

If your business is lacking vitality, stop and ask yourself, "Whose business is this? Who is responsible for it's slothful status anyway?"

Remember, to improve your business, you must improve YOU!

This month I am trying something different. Since Audio/Video is so popular I thought I would give it a try myself.

I would love to hear your thoughts. Do you like it this way, or would you prefer to keep it text only?
