The town in this narration, had excellent students and practitioners of the Martial Arts, who in addition to practicing and having friendly combats, also had dialogues, trying to find the answers to better define the most important forces of the Martial Arts.
Then, the turn came to try to explain something -many believed, that could not be defined, since they had to explain what is Ki?

In order to accomplish this, they made a contest. They had good contestants and one of them said : "Ki is the inner force"

Other said: " Ki is the universal force."

While another said: " With Ki everything, without Ki, nothing."

Others were talking about breathing, concentration, mysteries, balance and others simply said that Ki could not be defined, that Ki is like the ocean with its flowing and infinite waves.

They all concluded that their explanations, might be part of the same fundamental essence and after reaching this conclusion, it happened that as a natural reflection, they looked at the oldest man there, and one of them, addressed him directly and with great respect, asked: " Sir, because of your age, you must be the one who knows the most, because you easily have two or three times the age of many who are here. Tell us Sir, what is Ki?

And it looked like if the sun of the morning was awakening. That old man, who seemed that was sleeping, awoke like the bud of a flower that happily receives the light of the sun and the old man said: " Ki is a child that is born, is the tree that grows, the bird that flies in the sky covered with stars. It is like the voice of the plentiful river, even like the dreaming of the bear. It is the tender hand of the mother, the discipline of the father who honors justice and truth.

Ki is man and nature, the perfect science of certainty, and in the same way that there was a yesterday, and that today is now, in that same way, Ki will continue tomorrow like the eternal dawn. Then, they all understood that Ki is mother, father, child. It is human and not human. Ki is then, the brightness of Divine Breath.
