Greetings!

1992 - 2012

Can you remember what you were doing twenty years ago? Something came along that caused the semiconductor industry explode. Did Salland really make this happen? To be sure, our early growth tracked the industry upturn.

1992 growth rate chart

Can you remember who the leading players in the semiconductor test industry were in 1992? How many are still active today? How many have grown consistently through both good times and bad?

It is with great pride that Salland celebrates our twentieth anniversary of delivering quality solutions and consistent service to our customers.  Read more of my personal reflections here.

QUEST for Quality

paul with sword on Quest A quest is defined as a search for something valuable frequently filled with notable experiences and hardships. It has been a decade, since the Automotive Electronics Council published their first guidelines for improving reliability in semiconductor devices by applying outlier detection. Since then, there have been many surprises and lessons learned about how to put this seemingly simple theory to work in real production environments.

Today, Salland is proud to announce a new, comprehensive solution for deploying outlier detection across the enterprise. It represents the results of our experience gained over the past decade in helping leading manufacturers achieve the highest levels of device reliability. We have integrated a number of our proven products with new developments into a closed loop system we call QUEST - Quality Enhancement System for Test.

QUEST enables you to rapidly deploy outlier screening across a broad set of products with automated speed and consistency.

We will be demonstrating QUEST at ITC, November 5.

To our customers, suppliers and employees - Thank you!

Best regards,
