Greetings!
Karyn & I so appreciate you opening this weeks SelahGram.
Time Out!

email!I was watching a basketball game the other day when suddenly one of the coaches did a remarkable thing. He leaped off the bench and rushed toward the referee with outstretched arms, one hand placed horizontally over the other... like a "T". Interestingly, everything froze. The clock stopped. All activity ceased. Plus, all his players instantly ceased their frantic movement and made their way straight toward the coach. Huddling by his side for a minute or so, each intently stared at him. They formed their own little group-hug.

Everyone took a breath... some a refreshing drink... they regrouped. They apparently discussed some needed adjustments because as the action resumed, they responded like a different team.

Jesus regularly separated Himself from surroundings and sought solitude. Even with His anointing and ministry, He customarily required sanctuary. In other words, even Jesus regularly called "time out!" How much more must you and I consistently disconnect ourselves from life's frantic pace and from all activity to find haven and reclaim focus in Father's presence! The times of true refreshing come only from the presence of God! (...And those refreshing times are mostly found during "time outs".)
