Keep Terre Haute Beautiful's Spring Clean Up Day is on Saturday, May 1.

Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to help. 

Volunteers should come to the parking lot in front of Krogers at 25th and Wabash at 8:30 AM.

Each group willl be given a map of an area that needs to be cleaned up, gloves and plastic bags for trash and recycables.


The downtown crew will meet in the Vigo County School Corporation parking lot at 9 am on Saturday morning.


KTHB is a committee of TREES, Inc. and an affiliate of Keep America BeautifulThe local project is part of the nationwide Great American Clean Up. 

May 1st is Terre Haute's day to shine.  Please help.

ISU Gallery's Spring Exhibition

Reception:  April 30, 5-7 pm

Located in the Center for Performing and Fine arts at 7th & Chestnut Streets.

An exhibition of work by graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science degree candidates. This show is the culmination of the students' extended visual work and it marks the beginning of their professional careers.

MOTORSPORTS-INSPIRED ART EXHIBITION

The works of 20 local artists will be showcased in a motorsports-inspired art exhibition at Indiana State University from April 26-May 8.

The first-ever Artomobilia exhibition, a collaborative effort between the Motorsports Studies Program, College of Arts and Sciences and the ISU Department of Art, will be on display in the Bare-Montgomery Art Gallery, located in Fairbanks Hall on Seventh Street. For details, click here.

Final Friday Fun Ride We will be at the parking garage and leave about 7pm (on April 30th). This month's ride will go North on the 6th street to Maple and East to Collett park. Then back.

This is a ride for FUN! All are welcome.( Fat tires, skinny tires, trikes, recumbants, road bikes, mountain bikes, bikes with trainning wheels. ) All levels. Just a group ride for fun with no cause. Come out meet up old friends and find a few new ones.

We will meet at the "old" parking garage on Wabash Avenue about 6:45pm for a 7pm start (rain or shine).

Summer Youth
Art Program 
 
The Swope Summer Youth Art Programs give children and teenagers  an opportunity to study with professional artists and instructors. Classes teach students basic skills and provide them mentorship to fine-tune their abilities. Students will be exposed to artistic theory, learn about artists, practice varying techniques and create their own original works of art.
