"Love those Strings"

The Terre Haute Symphony Strings will be featured on Saturday, February 13th when they present "Love Those Strings" performed at ISU's Tilson Auditorium.  Music Director David Bowden will conduct an evening of music perfect for a special Valentine night out with your sweetheart or a special friend.  The evening's concert is sponsored by Union Hospital Health Group, William and Nancy Shriner, Fifth Third Bank and UAP Clinic.    

The evening's concert will feature two guest artists - Kurt Fowler, cello and Harriet Moore, harp. 

Tickets for the regular 7:30 evening performance are available in advance at the Hulman Center Ticket Office weekdays Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or by calling TicketMaster at 1-800-745-3000.  Tickets will also be available at the door.

Indiana State University's Hulman Center will have something for everyone in the family during the fourth annual Sycamore Hoopla, two fun-filled days of exciting basketball and a whole lot more Feb. 12 and 13!

Knights of Columbus begin serving breakfast:  $5 with proceeds going to Special Olympics Indiana.

9:30 a.m.         Polar Plunge, a fundraiser for Special Olympics

12:30 p.m.      Doors open

2 p.m.              ISU Men vs. Drake

Chase away the winter blues with a warm and festive Mardi Gras party at the Swope Art Museum! Your ticket entitles you to fun, festivities and frolicking on the third floor of the Swope.

 ·         Party attire! Everyone get a complimentary mask with admission, but you can upgrade to something fancier or pick up other embellishments in our mask shop for a few extra bucks.
