Friday, December 4th

7th & Cherry"Miracle on 7th Street"  5-10 pm.  A Christmas bazaar & celebration on 7th Street from Wabash to Ohio. Artists and gift vendors, live music, Optimist Club tree sales, food and drinks, photos with Santa, open houses, children's crafts, and much more!
  
Around the Tree: 4-5 pm. Jingle John of Silly Safaris and his live animal friends, including a real reindeer.  Vigo County Public Library.
 
Arts Illiana's Winter Collection:
Reception from 5-9 pm at 23 N. 6th Street.
 

Party on the Pavement: 5 pm. Performances by Vigo County School Corporation students, at Crossroads Plaza on Wabash Avenue.
 
Indiana Theater Open House:
5-10 pm, 7th & Ohio.  The little-seen handpainted firecurtain featuring the Indiana State Seal will be on display.
 

Tom Roznowski book signing and slide show:  5:30-7:30pm at BookNation, 675 Wabash.  The author will sign copies of his new book, American Hometown, and  present a slideshow of 1920's Terre Haute at 6 pm.

Christmas Choral Concert:
 Farrington Grove Chorale and the Terre Haute Children's Choir, 7-8 pm at First Congregational Church. Free admission.  A reception follows the concert.
 



Kwanzaa Celebration: 6-7:30 pm at ISU's African American Cultural Center.
 
Free Film Screening: "My Hometown, Terre Haute, Indiana"
: 8 pm at the film reelScottish Rite's  Hippodrome Theater - 727 Ohio.  Introductory remarks by Tom Roznowski.  Hosted by Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana.
 
Art Gallery receptions and openings: All along the Arts Corridor at Halcyon Contemporary Art, the Swope Art Museum, Gopalan Contemporary Art, Hane Studios, and Raven Art Gallery.   Trunk sale at the Swope!
 
Strolling Carolers: Members of Terre Foods Cooperative Market bring sounds of the season to downtown streets throughout the evening.
