virtual panel discussion with health care
professionals from the Lutheran Health Network in
Fort Wayne. This session will focus on how to prepare
for a job interview in the health care field.

Can scat tell us what that sea lions have been
eating? Discover one way scientists study animals'
diets.
Alaska SeaLife Center researchers need your help!
Why is the Steller sea lion population declining?
Environment? Pollution? Diet?
How do
scientists learn what animals put into their bodies
without watching them eat? They get the "scoop on
poop."
We will dissect sea lion scat and use the scientific
method to find clues to Steller sea lion diet and
foraging behavior. Determine the species and size of
fish that the sea lions have been eating as you
experience how researchers apply their knowledge of
fish anatomy to study the diet of these endangered
animals.

Title: The Kansas Comet's Roommate!
Date: April 21, 2009 at 10:00 am EST
Provider: Pro Football Hall of Fame
Grades: 6-12
This program examines the relationship between Hall
of Famer Gale Sayers and his teammate Brian
Piccolo. Not only will students examine the historical
implications of being one of the first black/white
roommates in the NFL, but also the character
traits
each of these players displayed in order to overcome
adversity both on and off the field.
A 10-minute segment from the NFL Film's
documentary Black Star Rising will be shown to
reinforce the topic. The 50-minute program, which is
designed to be highly interactive, is supplemented by
a lesson aligned with national standards of education
and is recommended for Middle School and High

| Teacher Recommends World War II Museum Programs |

Eleventh grade students at Bishop Dwenger recently
connected to the WWII Museum for their the D-Day
program through ACELINK.
I just wanted to let you know that the experience
with National WWI Museum in New Orleans was
great. We had a great response from both our
students and our staff that stopped by to watch. --Mary
Sturm, Bishop Dwenger High School.
The Education Department at the museum offers the

provider fees for up to three video
conferences
per teacher. Only ACELINK member schools are
eligible for this funding. Please contact me if you have
a special circumstance that requires more
funding.
