Build Your Support System

Small Business Week is here, and what better time to get out and celebrate! 

Entrepreneurs are the bedrock of this nation's economy.  Did you know that micro businesses (those with 5 or fewer employees) provide about HALF of all private sector jobs?  As a small business owner, you are making a real contribution!

So take some time out this week to do something for yourself.  No one has to tell you that running your own business is hard work, and it can be easy to slip into isolation without even realizing it's happened. 

Join your local Chamber of Commerce.  Attend business association meetings.  Reconnect with Renaissance/Start Up - come to a workshop, ask us about business/life coaching, join us for a networking mixer or two. 

A hero acting alone may save the world - in the movies, but not in real life.  In life and in business, we all need to join with others to succeed and achieve our dreams.  That's why building your support system is so essential.  Make it a priority!
