Post Event - Summary
CAA Travel Agency (NEO) Ltd
Classification: Travel Agency

CAA traces its roots back to 1903, when 27 motorists formed a club to help owners of a new invention known as a "horseless carriage". Today, CAA is a federation of 9 automotive clubs serving over 5 million members through more than 140 offices across Canada, offering a variety of services and savings.

CAA North & East Ontario is one such auto club serving Members in Ontario ranging from such districts as Sudbury, Timiskaming, Kenora, Rainy River, and Thunder Bay to the regional municipality of Ottawa. They deliver unequalled value to their members in the areas of automotive, membership, travel, insurance and related services. To this end they conduct their business in a progressive, professional and efficient manner, take up advocacy issues and offer an array of savings, while supporting the objectives of the CAA and AAA.

At last week's luncheon Christina Hlusko's colleague Ken Dumont started the craft talk by providing members with a brief introduction to CAA and then talked specifically about the CAA North & East Ontario office and provided details such as:
  • Territory from
  • Cornwall to Thunder Bay
  • 255,000 + Active Members
  • 173,000+ Households with Members
  • 200+ Employees
  • Club-owned fleet, plus contractors
  • 8 Membership Experience Stores
Ken then went on to let members know that CAA is the number one membership organization in Canada with more than 5.2 million members and also why it is that people join CAA.
  • Peace of mind and security
    • Road Side Assistance
    • Insurance of all kinds; including Travel
  • Financial rewards and savings
    • (Full Service) Travel Agency
    • Loyalty Programs
      • "Show Your Card and Save", "CAA Rewards"
  • Personal Service and sense of Membership
    • (Full Service) Travel Agency
