Annual Christmas Luncheon

Last week the OXA held its last meeting of 2011. Even though the weather outside was frightful, members braved the rain to attend the luncheon which was filled with Christmas cheer. Once again a good time was had by all as Mellow-Dee (a.k.a Dwight Grant 613-263-3504) entertained everyone with songs of the season.
Lots of warm wishes for the holidays were shared during the Thank Yous and President, Mardi Friesz, took the oportunity to say a special 'Thank You' to our Treasurer, Todd Storm and her fellow Board members, Paul O'Reilly, Adrian Spitzer, Mike Kolberg, Thom Bourne and Stephen Simcox. The menu for this annual Christmas luncheon was a holiday buffet which included turkey, stuffing, tourtiere, vegetarian lasagna as well as many other wonderful dishes and fabulous desserts. Upon arrival at the luncheon everyone was given a ticket and during the meeting there were several draws for prizes which were generously donated by members as well as 3 OXA gift certificates. Congratulations to all the winners!
