Stephen Simcox is the President and owner of Power Displays & Exhibits and has been working in the trade show display and

graphic printing industry since 1980. Stephen was born and raised in Ottawa and has experienced the transition of the

industry first hand. He insists everyone at Power Displays meets your needs on time and on budget.

Power Displays & Exhibits is a respected trade show and display company in Ottawa who are active in the business community

with memberships in the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce,

Ottawa Executives Association and Toastmasters Ottawa.

At last week's meeting Stephen started his craft talk by outlining for members some of the equipment and machinery that he uses in his business including Printers, Rip Station, Laminator and Plotter.

Stephen then advised members that Power Displays and Exhibits is a company offering large format, visual communications solutions including trade show displays, large format printing and signage.  He then talked about the different types of products available within each category.

Stephen showed members several different examples of the above mentioned displays etc. during his presentation and talked about the different sizes that are available.  He also touched on some of the different materials currently being used including the newer ECO banner which is made from Bamboo and is biodegradable and printed with inks that are UV stable and weatherproof. These banners can be used indoors or outdoors for years at a time while giving the user peace of mind knowing they are vegetable based, and safe to decompose without leaving harmful chemicals in our environment.
