Herzing College
Since 1965, Herzing has been a leader in providing organizations from all industries with trained employees who are able to be productive immediately. Their Career Services Department exists to help employers meet their needs for qualified technology professionals who can "hit the ground running." Their strength lies in the quality of their graduates, who have "state of the industry" skills in business, computer programming, computer networking, or web site design.
The Herzing University Career Services Department's objective is to develop long term relationships with human resource and industry professionals that will contribute to their organization's growth. All employment assistance services provided by Herzing University are free of charge and offer the following to employers:
- Highly trained, competent candidates
- Pre-screening of candidates to meet the employer's specifications
- Each graduate comes with the Herzing University Quality Service Guarantee; if an employer feels (within the first 12 months of employment) that a Herzing graduate needs additional training in a course of study, Herzing University will provide it for free!!
Tailored to meet the demand for Health Care, Business and Technology professionals in the nation's capital, Herzing's curriculum is designed to keep pace with the growing needs of industry. They have more than 40,000 graduates in technology, business, health care, and design since 1965.
Mike McAllister provided us with some history of the College and its success stories. He introduced many of the staff he is currently working with and answered several questions. Many of the OXA members present testified to the success of the College in providing first rate students.
If you would like more information or are interested in hiring a student or participating in Herzing's internship program, please contact Mike at 613-742-8099.
