Stephen Simcox is the President and owner of Power Displays & Exhibits and has been working in the trade show display and graphic printing industry since 1980. Stephen was born and raised in Ottawa and has experienced the transition of the industry first hand. He insists everyone at Power Displays meets your needs on time and on budget.

At last week's meeting Stephen talked about the many different types of displays, banners and accessories that Power Displays has to offer which included Pop Up, Roll Up, Custom Displays, Banner Stands, Literature racks, rentals and more. He had several different sample displays and banners onsite for people to view as well as samples of the printing materials used and what they would look like once printed. One of the newer products available that Stephen showcased was the ECO banner which is fully biodegradable and printed with eco inks that are UV stable and weatherproof. These banners can be used indoors or outdoors for years at a time while giving the user peace of mind knowing they are vegetable based, and safe to decompose without leaving harmful chemicals in our environment.
Stephen also touched on the fact that Power Displays has decided NOT to bring design in-house at their Ottawa office, but instead, form strategic alliances with many design firms. They believe that the best results come from qualified companies that focus on design so they act as a coordinator between the client and the design firm or they set the client up directly with the design firm. If clients have their own in-house design group or are already set up with a design firm, Power Displays & Exhibits will work closely with them in order to ensure they receive a specification sheet detailing how files must be saved, file size specifications and graphic sizes.
