E.R. Fisher Ltd. was started in 1905 and is one of the oldest businesses in the city still to be operated by the founding family. It started with one store then during the years they acquired other locations, but as the business evolved they returned to one store which is located at 199 Richmond Rd. E.R. Fisher offers quality products including tailored and made-to-measure clothing and formal wear rentals as well as sportswear and accessories. They also offer exceptional service including a Master Tailor and his team who offer custom alterations with your purchase, gift wrapping, world wide shipping and after hours appointments just to name a few.

Dom Herrick along with Sonia and Peter Fisher welcomed members upon their arrival. Members were treated to a wonderful breakfast served by Manny and his staff then Dom talked a bit about E.R. Fisher's great location in Westboro and how many of the OXA members had made contributions to the construction of the store. He then introduced Sonia Fisher who has taken over as the current president of E.R. Fisher (the fifth president Dom has had the pleasure to work with). Sonia introduced the staff of both new and long term employees who help to make E.R. Fisher's a great place to work and spoke about a few of the custom services that are available onsite such as made-to-measure clothing. Dom then introduced Sonia's father Peter who spoke about how nice it is to have been in business long enough that they are starting to see a new generation of shoppers coming into the store. Customers they have been serving for several years are now bringing their sons or grandsons into the store. Once breakfast and presentations were done, members were encouraged to have a look around the store and take advantage of the 15% discount being offered for the day.

Special Meeting
The Board will be holding a special meeting directly after the June 24th luncheon to discuss the advertising category that was recently vacated by Banfield-Seguin Ltd. The focus of this meeting will be to discuss splitting the advertising and graphic design category and how this would best be done without affecting the categories of current members. The Board invites those members who feel they may be affected to attend this meeting.

AGM - Voting Ballots
As the deadline to submit nominations has passed, the Voting Ballots for the positions of Board Director have been mailed - watch for them in the next few days. These have been addressed to the primary member.
