Last week's onsite was hosted by Adrian Spitzer of Valpak Ottawa. After arriving at the Valpak offices and spending some time networking, Adrian gave a presentation to members about how Valpak can help you to maximize the advertising of your business by helping to reach your specific target market within the city. Targeting specific areas within the city allows you to focus your marketing to where it will do the most good for your business. He also talked about how Valpak can work with you to track where your business is coming from which will allow you to alter your marketing strategy to get the best value for your advertising dollars.

Adrian's business partner Glenn McLeish introduced members to Valpak online. He explained how you can now easily access Valpak coupons through your wireless device such as Blackberry or iPhone. With this new online access all that is required in order to redeem your coupon is to show the clerk your cell phone. One of the added bonuses to having Valpak online is that you can access coupons for anywhere you are just by entering your current location's postal code. This makes it easy for people who travel to save wherever they are.

After the presentation and dinner, members were treated to a performance by Adrian's band while the Canada vs. Russia olympic hockey game played on the big screen.
