 | | Store 24 before renovations |
 | | Tedeschi's after renovations. |
Please join Tedeschi Food Shops on Friday, June 17, 2-4 p.m. to celebrate their new Peabody Square store. The event marks the completion of a major investment by Tedeschi's, building owner Liberty Trust, and Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development. The building has been completely renovated inside and out, and converted from the old Store 24 format to a more customer-friendly Tedeschi's.
Tedeschi's and franchise owner Khalid Abboud will be providing free food samples and hosting Canobie Lake Park, a radio station, music giveaways, and costume characters. This is Tedeschi's way of saying "Thank You" to Dorchester - Please stop by!

SMAMS, Mass Affordable Housing Alliance and Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development were honored to host U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation John Porcari on May 20 for a "Winning the Future Roundtable with American Business." The event was one of at least 100 sessions planned to bring senior administration officials out to communities around the country, listen to local businesses' suggestions, and let them know about available federal assistance.
