Thanks from Tiki-Tini!
Thanks to all who attended/sponsored/volunteered on Tiki-Tini, our sixth annual Martinis on the Avenue event. Summer made one last visit before the arrival of winter, our guests had a fantastic time, and SMAMS and Fields Corner Main Street raised funds to support our work revitalizing our Dot Ave business districts.
Thanks to Judy Tuttle and photographer Mike Ritter for band photo (Judy) and Blarney hosts photo (Mike). To view a gallery of Mike's photos from the evening (and to purchase copies if you wish), please click here and enter "Dotini" as the password (case-sensitive, no quotation marks) .

Restaurant Scene
Please welcome the newest member of the SMAMS restaurant scene, Tavolo Ristorante's Nuno Alves.
Nuno, former sous chef at Rialto in Cambridge, replaces Max Thompson, who has departed the Tavolo kitchen after three years in order to travel.
"The culinary team that Chris Douglass has assembled at Tavolo is outstanding," says Nuno. "My goal is make Tavolo even more warm and inviting; like visiting my own home. We'll also tread deeper into whole-animal cookery at Tavolo, as well as healthy cooking with more vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes to choose from."
