Community Update Meeting Feb 3 - Ashmont Station, Peabody Square and Dot Ave Construction 
 Ashmont Station Busway
SMAMS will hold a meeting on Wednesday, February 3, 6:30 PM at All Saints Church Hall, 209 Ashmont Street to update the neighborhood on Ashmont Station construction and planned renovations to Peabody Square and Dorchester Ave, including traffic lights at Lonsdale Street and St. Mark's Church.  Representatives from the MBTA and Boston Traffic Department will be on hand to make presentations and answer your questions.

Boston Youth Fund Summer Jobs
 
Teens who would like to apply to work at Boston Youth Fund summer jobs must register with the "Hope Line," either by phone or online. 
 
Phone registration is Tuesday - Friday, Feb. 16-19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  The number is 617-635-4673. 
 
Online registration is available 24 hours a day beginning 10 a.m. Feb 16, until 11:59 p.m. March 15 at WWW.BOSTONYOUTHZONE.COM 
 
To be eligible, teens must: be full-time Boston residents; be 15 years old on or before July 5, 2010; and cannot turn 18 years old on or before August 13, 2010.
 
Note, registering with the Hope Line does not guarantee a summer job.
