| Whistle Handout Dec. 16; More Public Safety Activity Coming in January
Join SMAMS, Boston and Transit Police, McGruff the Anti-Crime Dog, and your neighbors on Wednesday, Dec. 16, between 4 and 7 PM at Ashmont Station for safety whistles and information. If you would like to volunteer for any amount of time we would love to have you, or just stop by and get your whistle! (To volunteer, please call the SMAMS office at 617-825-3846.)
SMAMS met with Boston, Transit and Schools police plus elected officials and youth outreach workers earlier this month to begin working on a safety plan for the Ashmont/Peabody Square area. We plan to meet with all local merchants in January to further develop this plan. |
