Winter Stars Concert Dec. 13

SMAMS and the Boston City Singers will present Winter Stars, a holiday concert for all, on Saturday, Dec. 13, 7:00 PM at St. Mark's Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave.

Performers include the Boston City Singers youth chorus; Dorchester Symphony Orchestra; and Branches Pan Groove Caribbean Steel Orchestra.

Admission is $10, but free to all who complete the Healthy Holidays on Main Streets promotion! (see below)

  • Drop off your completed card at Flat Black Coffee in the Carruth Building by 5:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 10, and pick up your ticket to Winter Stars!  The winner of the grand prize will be drawn at the concert (winner need not be present).

Dot-2-Dot Art Reception Dec. 11

Dot-2-Dot Cafe Grand Opening
Visit the Dot-2-Dot Cafe, 1739 Dorchester Ave., Thursday, Dec. 11, 6:30 - 9:30 PM, for an art reception featuring works by the Black Artists' Movement at UMass-Boston and a fantastic buffet supper!  Admission is $10.  For more information, please call the Dot-2-Dot at 617-436-2368.
Holiday Helperscandy cane heart

Jack Conway Real Estate, 1810 Dot Ave, collects non-perishable food which they donate to Dorchester food pantries.  They also take monetary donations, which food pantries use to purchase food at the Greater Boston Food Bank. Make checks payable to Dorchester House, or to Codman Square Health
