Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss Is Saturday
The T-Birds annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss game is scheduled for January 29 when the T-Birds take on the Portland Winterhawks at ShoWare Center.
After the T-Birds first goal of the game fans should throw teddy bears and stuffed animals on to the ice. The bears are collected by the WARM 106.9 FM Teddy Bear Patrol. The Teddy Bear Patrol distributes the bears to local police and fire departments who give them to children in times of emergency and crisis.
Fans are encouraged to bring as many teddy bears and stuffed animals as possible to the game against the Winterhawks. Teddy bears will also be available for purchase at the game. Fred Meyer is donating bears to Children's Hospital who will be selling them at the game for $5. All proceeds raised from the sale of bears goes directly to Children's Hospital

Kent Reporter Family Night vs. Silvertips
The third Kent Reporter Family 4 Pack is Sunday, January 30, against the Everett Silvertips. A family of four can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $48.

T-Birds Mentor Program With
Communities in Schools of Kent

At the start of the season the T-Birds partnered with Communities in Schools of Kent on a mentorship program. Four T-Birds players have been visiting classes at Kent Elementary Schools every Thursday to help with educational and curriculum goals.
Communities in Schools of Kent will have a table at the game on Sunday against Everett where you can learn more about their mentoring program and how you might be able to help at a school in your community. |
T-Birds Player Appearances at Fred Meyer
The T-Birds will be making two player appearances at Fred Meyer stores on Wednesday, January 26.
Half of the team will be at the Kent Fred Meyer from 6pm to 7pm and half of the team will be at the Renton Fred Meyer from 6pm to 7pm on January 26.
The T-Birds will be offering a ticket special to Fred Meyer customers for the Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, January 29, game against the Portland Winterhawks.
Players will also be available for autographs and picture taking. Cool Bird will also make an appearance at one of the stores.

T-Birds Congratulate Group MVP
The T-Birds would like to congratulate our Group MVP from the game on January 21.

is set for Tuesday, February 1

The seventh of eight State Farm Player magnets will be given out FREE to the first 2,500 fans at the game on Tuesday, February 1, against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The seventh State Farm Player Magnet will feature defenseman Dave Sutter. The eight magnets combine to form one big T-Birds magnet.
One State Farm Player Magnet will be given away FREE at every Tuesday home game this season.

February 20 is Going To Be A Busy Game
Are you coming to the game on Sunday, February 20?
The T-Birds annual Mascot Game is slated for Sunday, February 20, when the T-Birds take on the Everett Silvertips at ShoWare Center at 5:05pm at ShoWare Center.
Mascots from local area sports teams, high schools and businesses will be at the game interacting with fans of all ages. They will also take part in the first intermission on-ice promotion.
The Mascot Game is also a Kent Reporter Family Pack Night where fans can get 4 tickets, 4 sodas and 4 hot dogs for $48. What a great deal for families, tickets at a great price plus all the mascots in attendance to delight kids of all ages.
February 20 is also Youth Group Night. All Youth Groups can get 10 tickets for $95. Download the Youth Group Flyer and get it back to the T-Birds to get the ticket special. The purchasers of the first 1,000 Youth Group Tickets will get a FREE T-Birds hat. As part of Youth Group Night ALL fans in attendance at the game can purchase $1 hot dogs and $1 ice cream at the concession stands.
And if all that wasn't enough, it is also Girl Scout Night on February 20. The T-Birds will be distributing Girl Scout cookies to fans at random times during the game. 2011 Hockey Challenge Is Getting Closer

The 2011 Hockey Challenge will take place on Saturday, February 26, and Sunday, February 27, at ShoWare Center.
There will be a minimum of 14 games during Hockey Challenge weekend. There will be teams from Microsoft, Amazon and other local business and organizations taking part to raise money for the Seattle Ronald McDonald House.
The announcement of the local and national celebrities taking part in the Celebrity All-Star Game after the T-Birds vs. Portland Winterhawks game on Saturday, February 26, will be made in the next few weeks.

T-Birds Games On Xfinity On Demand
Seattle Thunderbirds home games in the 2010-11 season will be broadcast on Xfinity On Demand. The game broadcast should be available 24 to 48 hours after the game is played.
On Demand is accessible to all Xfinity subscribers who have Digital Cable. On Demand is accessed by pressing the Menu Key on the Digital Cable remote control. Once in the On Demand Menu, select the Sports & Fitness category. T-Birds games can be found in the Thunderbirds Hockey sub-category, within the Sports & Fitness category.
With On Demand, viewers can start a program at any time and have the ability to stop, pause, fast-forward and rewind the selected program, as well as the ability to watch the program over and over again.

FREE T-Birds Program & $3 hot dog & pop

All season long the T-Birds will be offering special pregame promotions.
For the 20 minutes after the doors at ShoWare Center open fans can get a hot dog and pop for $3 at the concession stand across from the Hockey Store in ShoWare Center.
Fans can also pick up a FREE entry ticket for the "Ivar's Early Entry Fan of the Night" contest. Each night one lucky fan will win a $20 gift certificate to use at any one of the 27 Ivar's Seafood Bar locations in western Washington. The FREE entry ticket can be picked up at the program stand just inside the main entrance at ShoWare Center.
Fans can also get a FREE game day program that includes up-to-date statistical information and a bio on each of the T-Birds players in their first year of eligibility for the 2011 NHL Draft up until 20 minutes after doors open.
The Hockey Store at ShoWare Center will also have a souvenir or merchandise special at every game that is available from the time doors open until 20 minutes after doors open.
