Summer Stretch is a Gospel-centered approach to community service giving young people a safe, healthy place where they can contribute to the community along with socializing with their peers.  Typical days consist of a service experience in the morning (such as  Mt. Olivet Home, ARC Value Village, Feed My Starving Children) and a recreational event in the afternoon (such as Grand Slam, Bunker Beach, Cascade Bay, and Valleyfair).

Cost for Summer Stretch is $150. This includes transportation and admission into all events as well as a Summer Stretch T-shirt. Limited financial assistance is available - see Joy Biedrzycki for details.  Register online at http://olpmn.org/index.cfm?load=page&page=204 by June 4th.

Vacation Bible Camp

June 25-29, 2012
At Dino-Rama campers discover that God's LOVE is not extinct! The week is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that campers see, hear, touch and even taste!

Dino-Rama was created by our OWN Ou Lady of Peace Youth Coordinating Team and supported by the Adult VBC Core Team. Activities help faith flow into real life. We'll help campers see evidence of God in everday life - something we call "God Sightings."

The week of Monday June 25th - Friday June 29th

9:00 - 12:00 p.m. ~ 3 years - 1st Grade

9:00 - 3:30 p.m. ~ 2nd - 8th Grade

Register online at www.olpmn.org or pick up a form at the church entrances, school or parish office.

Pad Update

Teachers have been attending workshops on integrating iPads and apps in the classroom! They have come away excited and ready to put this new technology to use next year!

The iPad Committee is hard at work putting together an iPad Policy Handbook detailing elements of the program, responsibilities to device, management of the device and instructions on care. Continue to look for more detailed information on the website and the mail regarding the program and iPad orientation at Back-to-School night!

Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I speak or frame.
Thy glory may I seek in all,
Do all in Jesus' name.

My Father, for His sake I pray.
Thy child accept and bless
And lead me by Thy grace to-day
In paths of righteousness. Amen.
