After learning about the importance of courts in our justice system, Kindergarteners through fourth graders created posters promoting Law Day.  The posters were displayed at the Hennepin County Government Center last week and winning posters were chosen by a panel of judges.  On Wednesday  May 2 Judge Janet Poston visited the students and awarded prizes to the winners.

Winners are:   Anna, Kindergarten

In addition to the class winners, Ethan, a second grader, won the "People's Choice" award based on the number of votes received from the public while on display.

Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I speak or frame.
Thy glory may I seek in all,
Do all in Jesus' name.

My Father, for His sake I pray.
Thy child accept and bless
And lead me by Thy grace to-day
In paths of righteousness. Amen.
