Greek Gods & Goddesses at OLP

Mount Olympus was transported to Pates Hall this morning! We were graced with the presence of Zeus and Hera, Athena, Artemis, Persephone, Prometheus, Hermes, Ares, Poseidon, Hercules, Bacchus, Apollo, Asclepious, Kronos, Hephasteus, Hades, and Aphrodite.

The 6th Grade students hosted the Gods & Goddesses representing them during tours by other grades. It was a monumentous morning!

Staffing
Staffing changes for next year...

It is that time of year when staff begin to make decisions about next year.  Gaylen Fraenkel has decided not to return as the Athletic Director next year.  However, we can welcome to Joe Crosby who will be assuming this position in addition to his communications position at the parish.

Tom Munoz had decided not to return next year to his position as middle school math and science teacher so Dr. Glynn will be posting that position opening next week.

Danielle Manus-Hoben informed Dr. Glynn today that she has chosen to resign her position effective immediately. The position will be posted during the coming week.

Dr. Glynn will be posting updates as they occur.

Running Challenge . . .

And the Out-of-Uniform day goes to . . .
3rd Quarter the entire school participated in a challenge - use quiet feet and quiet voices in the halls and stairwells. For each day a class uses quiet feet and voices they will be awarded a point. The classes that earn 32 points during the quarter will be awarded an Out-of-Uniform day at the beginning of next quarter!

And . . . the results

All classes will be allowed an Out-of-Uniform day on Thrusday March 29th for their efforts in the challenge!

But ~ the challenge continues! A special event is being planned for those students who continue with quiet feet and voices during 4th quarter. The bar is higher - 36 points are needed for the challenge!

So - quiet feet and quiet voices!

Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I speak or frame.
Thy glory may I seek in all,
Do all in Jesus' name.

My Father, for His sake I pray.
Thy child accept and bless
And lead me by Thy grace to-day
In paths of righteousness. Amen.
