Volunteer

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement serves youth. It uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with volunteers and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.

All class materials are provided by JA. The lesson plans are user friendly, fun, and easy to teach. Experience in business is NOT  necessary to be a Junior Achievement volunteer.

The fifth and seventh graders are in need of a volunteer to teach the session. There are six 40-minute lessons. All the materials and lesson instructions are laid out so minimal preparation is needed.

Without a volunteer, the program cannot be offered to these grades. Please contact Mary Roth at mroth@olpmn.org
Giving Back to those that Give so Much
 St. Valentine's Cards for Veterans
During this Valentine season the students created cards to be given to the men and women staying at the Veteran's Hospital here in Minneapolis. The 5th Grade students of Mrs. Roth's class are collecting the cards created by students. They will be delivered on Valentine's Day! Wonderful job to teachers and students who made such beautiful cards!

Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I do, things great or small
Whate'er I speak or frame.
Thy glory may I seek in all,
Do all in Jesus' name.

My Father, for His sake I pray.
Thy child accept and bless
And lead me by Thy grace to-day
In paths of righteousness. Amen.
