The Update on 54th
With several very good and peaceful title suggestions for our electronic newsletter, we've settled on The Update on 54th. We've selected this title because this weekly newsletter will inform our entire community about the variety of things happening on our campus and beyond. So, don't be surprised when a Leisure Club member is aware of youth ministry activities - and vice versa!

Thanks to all who helped us come to this name. Remember, if you want to communicate through The Update on 54th, simply complete this form.
Our Lady of Peace Catholic School  Open House on Thursday Night

Our Lady of Peace Catholic School is hosting an open house on Thursday, November 17. The open house is for Preschool, Prekindergarten, and Kindergarten students for the 2012-2013 school year. This is a great time for young families to visit Our Lady of Peace. Additional open houses for the rest of our school grades will be held in January and February.
CCHD Collection this Weekend!  Collection is November 19-20

This weekend we take up a collection that helps fight poverty at its roots. For over 40 years, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) has provided funding for groups that make lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States. The collection has helped secure funding for low-income day care centers and programs that emphasize education and affordable housing in low-income neighborhoods. It has contributed to efforts to implement laws that enforce fair wages. Fight poverty in America. Defend human dignity. Give to the CCHD collection. Envelopes are in the pews. Go to the CCHD website for more info.
