Our Newsletter
Our Newsletter is a weekly newsletter sent from Our Lady of Peace.  Look for it to arrive in your email inbox in the middle of each week. It will supplement our now more concise bulletin and communicate church & school highlights.

Name the Newsletter
Of course, a creative and active community like Our Lady of Peace would not settle for a newsletter called "Our Newsletter" so we are opening it up to suggestions - post your thoughts on our Facebook page, email us, or give us a call.

CCHD
Special Collection
During the weekend of November 12-13, we will take up the Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). CCHD was founded by the U.S. bishops, who recognized that the lives of those in need will not improve until the systems and policies that keep people in poverty change. For over 40 years, CCHD has funded community groups that create lasting change. Fight poverty in America. Defend human dignity. Give to the CCHD Collection

Our Lady of Peace Early Learning Program
Early Registration Open to Parishioners

Our Lady of Peace families with preschool aged children are given priority for registration in the Early Learning Program.  The program's popularity and limited space has led to a great demand for its services. Non-parishioners are invited to the November 17 Open House where they can register if space is available.

Email Chris Cheney or call 612-823-8253 for more details.

Thinking Christmas?
If you've visited a shopping mall or watched television commercials, you know that retailers are ramping up for the holiday season. We too are thinking about Advent and Christmas and the beauty and celebratory nature of the season. Make sure to mark your calendar for Come to the Stable, our living Nativity outside the church on Sunday, December 18 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. We need help in putting together a wonderful and "Living" celebration of Jesus' birth.  If you want to help with any aspect of the event - from costumes, to music, to publicity - please email Joy Biedrzycki. Watch your mail for our full Advent season schedule.
