Two of our favorite things in life come together in Franklin County, in northwest Florida: lighthouses and full moons! The St. George Lighthouse (St. George Island) and Crooked River Lighthouse (Carrabelle Beach) are hosting full moon lighthouse climbs in April. What could be more magical and mystical than being atop an historic lighthouse under the golden glow of a full moon? It's BYOVM - bring your own Van Morrison - just in case you need to Moondance. Hmmm . . . lighthouses, full moons and Van Morrison. That actually makes three of our favorite things!

If Easter is one of your favorites, then you're in luck, because things are hoppin' along the Gulf. Key Largo has what must be the most unusual and fun Easter event ever, an underwater easter egg hunt. Nowhere but the Gulf Coast! Grown men in bunny rabbit costumes AND scuba gear. Life is grand!

Bunnies aren't the only furry critters that enjoy Easter. Over in Seabrook, TX, between Galveston and Houston, dogs get in on the holiday. With their own easter egg hunt. Yep, egg hunting for dogs. But what does the fashionable dog wear to an easter egg hunt? We have no clue, but if you do, there's a parade to show off your dog's easter bonnet, and a contests for the best dog easter outfit. And it's all for a good cause, so start knitting that bonnet!
