We now have for sale some very nice wide Madrone, Arbutus Menziesii, that came from a log that we purchased from Oregon. These Madrone slabs are 6/4 and 8/4 thick and also have curly figure. This is an absolutely beautiful wood that has a pale reddish brown color with some variegated streaking. If you are not familiar with this wood, it is very hard and heavy with excellent strength and bending properties. Surprisingly, even though it is so hard, it works well with both hand and machine tools. Next time you stop by take a look at these slabs. They would be ideal for high end furniture making.

We are looking for an assistant manager to join our team. You will be responsible to help oversee our operation and perform many of the following tasks depending on your knowledge and skills:
Sales - Both walk-in and Internet
Preparing Lumber for sale
Improving the efficiency of our operations
Photographing and Maintaining our lumber displays
Woodworking, managing and computer experience necessary. You should enjoy doing a variety of tasks and have a desire to constantly learn. Must be highly organized, efficient, have a good attitude, be able to motivate employees and enjoy working in a fast paced work environment. This is a hands-on position.
