Customized Library Instruction for Your Students


Library instruction is available for classes of all disciplines, sizes and levels.  Contact the appropriate subject librarian or request a session online. Librarians can also be added to your D2L course, where they may serve as a resource for you and your students; contact your subject librarian for more information.

Plan Ahead: Make Reserve Requests Early to Ensure Availability 


Reserves are available for faculty members to offer materials for students in support of their coursework.  Use the online form to place materials on reserve.  Faculty are encouraged to make items on reserve available electronically.  Reserve materials are scanned, converted to PDF file format and made available to students at through the E-Reserves page.  Please allow at least two weeks for items to be placed on reserve at the beginning of a semester; requests are handled in the order received.    For more information, contact Ken Pearson at or call (405) 325-3843.

Library Tours & Orientations

Bizzell Library West Entrance

Library orientation sessions are available to all students and faculty during the first week of the fall semester. No registration is required. To participate in an orientation session, please meet at the Information Desk located just inside the west entrance of Bizzell Memorial Library at the designated time. Each 45-minute session will include information about navigating the libraries' website and searching the libraries' online resources as well as a brief tour of Bizzell Memorial Library.

Orientation sessions will be held as follows:

Monday, August 22nd @  8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday, August 23rd @ 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 24th @ 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 25th @ 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
