Welcome!
Dear Neighbors,
Our recent Spring Fling was a HUGE success. Close to 100 folks gathered together at the pavilion for hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie-burgers and a variety of salads and desserts. Along with a moon bounce for the kids, our local Arnold Volunteer Fire Department's Chief, Firefighters and First Responders brought their new Pumper Truck for all to see. We also were joined by an Anne Arundel County Police Officer, who brought information regarding the DARE program, promotion of a Neighborhood Watch Program and other information regarding public safety. It was great seeing all our neighbors and to meet and greet the newest members of our community. How nice it was to see an infusion of young families, and it became the perfect send-off to our old playground equipment. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Amanda Rambo, Kristen Eckels and their team of volunteers who made this event happen. If you missed it this year, look for the date for next year and make sure you come. It was a fabulous event!
Speaking of playground equipment, the new equipment has been ordered and is set for delivery any day now. Take the kids and check it out!
As a reminder, our e-Beacon is up and running and is being sent to approximately 200 e-mail addresses provided by our community residents. If you haven't done so, please provide your email address to Julia Collins at julia.l.boyle@gmail.com.
As we gear up into late spring and early summer, remember our kids will be out playing, biking and playing ball. Let's be careful driving through our community and continue to look out for each other.
Sincerely,
Jeff Burkhart BHCA President
