Artist Erin McGee Ferrell, in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation's Marketing and Promotions Office will open a fresh new gallery of unique paintings that express her ability to capture movement and chaos in a way that not even she can predict. Drawing inspiration from crowded locations throughout the city like LOVE Park, Philadelphia Museum of Art, City Hall, Boat House Row and others, Ms. McGee Ferrell paints with no inclinations of the end result! With exciting colors and unique movements, she composes works of art that seem to have paused an otherwise bustling location.  Her oil paintings are eye catching and draw crowds of passerby's in every location she paints.

"I choose to work in Plein Air, rarely from photos. My paintings are moments of my life... a few hours of being in that particular space and time" says artist McGee Ferrell.

Erin's Philadelphia inspired pieces will make there debut during the gallery opening on 11/30/2010 in the Fairmount Park Welcome Center in LOVE Park and remain on display throughout the holidays. They will be available for purchase following the gallery opening in the form of posters, magnets and framed reprints..
