Garbage Collection Not Affected by Easter Holiday
On Friday, April 6, Fuquay-Varina government offices including Town Hall and the Community Center will be closed in observance of the Easter Holiday.
The holiday will not affect garbage collection service. Customers should place garbage carts curbside no later than 5 a.m. the day of pick-up. For your convenience, you may also place your cart curbside after 7:00 p.m. on the evening before your collection day. |

Feed the Bin Winners for March
Citizens are still winning big in the Feed the Bin and Win promotion which began in February and continues through May 30. There's still plenty of time for you to be a winner too! It's easy to participate in Feed the Bin and Win. Now through May 30, place your recycling bin curbside after 7:00 p.m. on the Tuesday before your regular recycling pick-up and leave it there until 8 a.m. on recycling day. The Town is visiting randomly selected addresses to see if the recycling bin has been placed at the curb for pick-up. Selected addresses that are recycling will win $50.00. A minimum of two winners will be chosen each week so make sure to recycle. It's a win-win for you and the environment!
