Sean McLean Teaches Martial Arts

at the Community Center

Sean McLean Photo
Sean McLean is currently the longest serving instructor at the F-V Community Center.  He teaches Martial Arts.

After a work-related ACL tear left him partially disabled, Sean McLean enrolled in a Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do class to replace jogging in his exercise routine. Although he found it physically demanding, it proved to be interesting and a source of great exercise. He continued his studies of Chung Do Kwan and tested for promotions to learn more techniques and philosophy. Today, Sean holds the rank of 5th degree black belt.

Aside from the physical aspects of Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, students learn courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and spirit. It is because of these values that Sean began to teach at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center.  Read More...
