Featured Event: "About Hunger & Resilience" Exhibition

Portraits and audio recordings offer a powerful glimpse into
the harsh reality of domestic hunger.

Through May 27

Artist Michael Nye uses captivating photographs and audio recordings to tell the story of hunger in America in his powerful art exhibit, About Hunger & Resilience, sponsored by Nationwide Insurance. Nye spent four and a half years traveling the country, listening to and learning from individuals as they struggled to find words to describe their personal experiences with hunger. With this exhibit, Nye gives a voice to those who are often the least heard and most forgotten in the community.

AboutHungerAndResilience

About Hunger &Resilience is open to public view on the second floor of Three Nationwide Plaza through May 27 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Did You Know?

Six billion pounds of surplus produce goes to waste each year in the U.S., and Feeding America partners with member food banks across the country to acquire this food for those in need. Last year, 25% of the 40 million pounds distributed by Mid-Ohio Foodbank was fresh fruits and vegetables, which comes from Ohio farmers, the USDA, home gardens and the Foodbank's own community garden.
