FASTSIGNS Louisville has worked with the Norton Healthcare system for more than 10 years, collaborating on any number of large and small jobs. The teams' most recent project was the renovation of the fourth and fifth floors of the Norton Hospital.  The fourth floor is the Norton Cancer Institute and the fifth floor is the Norton Heart Care, Spine and Neuroscience Center.

The project was more than a complete renovation.  This was a continued implementation of the Hospital's new sign specifications.  Colors, fonts and styles all coordinated to work together to inform, direct and promote the Norton Healthcare brand.  Norton Healthcare has been working to implement these new standards across all campuses. 

FASTSIGNS Louisville co-owner Sam Cilone was involved in the process from conception to completion, starting with meetings geared toward enhancing wayfinding and improving consistency.  The objective was for patients and visitors to easily and consistently get where they were going.

There were walk-throughs, tests, revisions and edits.  Messages were changed and fine-tuned to more accurately provide directional messages.

In addition, FASTSIGNS Louisville placed a high priority on maintaining the integrity of the Norton logo, brand and sign specifications. As with all customers, FASTSIGNS Louisville fabricates and installs the Norton architectural signage with care and attention to detail.

Examples of signage in the fourth and fifth floor Hospital renovation include overhead directional signage, room signs, directories, room identification, informational signage, wayfinding signs -- all interior signage on both floors.

FASTSIGNS Louisville coordinated with Norton Construction Management, Facilities and Engineering specialists and Norton Healthcare Marketing.
