Project of the Month
Michael Brent Resource Center
at Frazier Rehab Institute

Linda Berry wanted a way to memorialize her son, Michael Brent, and help other patients and families of people with spinal cord injuries and disabilities. So she did two things.

First, she organized Friends for Michael, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for spinal cord injuries.

Then she worked with Frazier Rehab Institute to develop the Michael Brent Resource Center to give families and community groups a place to meet and have ready access to up-to-date information about spinal cord injuries.  Dr. Roger Butterbaugh from Frazier worked with Ms. Berry to help collect meaningful resources that would address the physical, psychological and emotional challenges spinal cord patients experience.

Ms. Berry and Dr. Butterbaugh worked with FASTSIGNS Louisville to design a room that both communicates and welcomes.  Signs direct people to the room, identify the room and communicate its purpose.

The variety of signs include:

·      Dimensional letters

·      Dimensional plaques

·      Acrylic engraved donor plaques

Plus, FASTSIGNS Louisville designed and engineered a display system that included laser engraving, photopolymer processing, Braille, printing on several different media, as well as a cable and clip system.

The Michael Brent Resource Center is beautiful and FASTSIGNS Louisville is proud of the part it played.  Read more about Michael and the Michael Brent Resource Center at Frazier Rehab Institute.

Banner Stands are Adaptable

Banner stands fit almost anywhere and solve a myriad of promotional situations.

  • Put one in the corner and promote what makes you unique!
  • Stand three side-by-side and you have a coordinated tradeshow backdrop.
  • One banner stand in front of a meeting can highlight the agenda.
  • Thank sponsors on one banner stand and list the agenda on another for fundraising events or conventions.

Here's why customers love FASTSIGNS Louisville's banner stands:

* affordable

* lightweight and easy to carry

* simple to set up and tear down

Plus, you can replace the banner with new graphics and use the stand over and over again!

Banner stands make a statement, whether it's promotional or informational.  And they do it with style.

Fern Creek High School uses banner stands to highlight various aspects of the school's programs.  The banners are grouped or used individually during open houses for parents and prospective students throughout the year.

Charity Calendar Filling Up

The FASTSIGNS Louisville Charity Calendar has more than 50 charities registered and entering events.  April and May are getting busy, according to the Calendar!  March looks like a great time to start adding your golf scrambles, so everyone can start making plans.

It's also not too early to start filling in those fall dates.  If you have a date penciled in, put it on the Calendar and fill in the specifics later. That way other groups will know you're making plans!

FASTSIGNS
Louisville Offers
Affordable Donor
Recognition

In any fundraising effort, recognizing donors is a critical part of the project.  FASTSIGNS Louisville provides solutions that honor important benefactors appropriately, while respecting the cost considerations of the charity or foundation.

Cast bronze or aluminum plaques are high-end architectural signs, which are often used for dedications.

FASTSIGNS Louisville can create this look using the photopolymer process and forming raised letters with a smooth or textured background.  Plaques can be elaborate and intricate, or simple and elegant.

The result is an impressive donor recognition display that saves time and money but doesn't compromise on look.  That's the perfect combination to help ensure non-profit success.

podium

This podium has an elegant donor recognition plaque, also using the photpolymer process.
