BHX 050
Launched at the 2009 Ligna Exhibition, the innovative BHX 050 is set to take the market by storm. 
In a footprint of only 2930 x 1468mm, this amazing CNC controlled throughfeed machine boasts vertical drilling, horizontal drilling (all four sides) along with a grooving unit and router spindle. The unique clamping system eliminates set up time making the machine perfect for one off production.

Opening the Door to Better Results
 For door manufacturers, Weeke and Homag have high performance four and five axis CNC machines that significantly improve productivity and quality. These powerful CNCs feature dedicated horizontal router heads for machining lock cases and have up to 7.2 meter tables for tandem loading and even throughfeed machines.
Versatility and flexibility are key benefits with up to 30 place tool changes, LED vacuum cup positioning and automatic vacuum cup positioning. The easy to use WoodWOP software provides parametric programming for flexible working and the option of barcode scanning.
On the sanding from, Buetfering has a range of machine including single head models for small businesses, twin and triple head and even top and bottom lines for the larger users. With working widths from 950mm to 1650mm, Buetfering sanders are designed for calibration sanding, finish sanding with segmented pads and lacquer sanding (de-nibbing).

Leading the Field - New Ambition Edgebander
 The Ambition 1100 and 1200 Series are optimum quality, entry level edgebanders at competitive prices.
The Ambition 1100 operates with work piece thickness ranging from 10 to 50mm and edging thickness of 0.4 - 2.0mm, whilst the models have a work piece thickness range of 8mm to 50mm (60mm optional) and an edging thickness of 0.4 to 3mm (6mm optional) with additional features such as pre-milling and corner rounding available on this series.
There are two new models in the 1400 Series - the Ambition 1440 FC and 1440 FGC is equipped with a unique twin motor multi-functional corner rounding unit for complete processing of panels up to 60mm thickness. The advantage of the Ambition 1440 FGC model is that it also offers a facility for groove processing.
Models from the 1600 and 1800 series can be equipped for solid wood edges up to 20mm in thickness whilst at the top of the Ambition range, the 2200 Series boasts features such as feed speeds of up to 32m/minute, pre-milling units, automatic profile changeovers, small panel gaps and corner rounding at up to 20m/minute.

Homag Canada Hosts Germany Technology Tour
 The week long trip took six Canadian woodworking companies on a tour of eight fully integrated production facilities. The tour saw different sectors in the industry, concentrating on wood windows and doors, where participants were able to see facilities showcasing state-of-the-art technology. The trip was also combined with the 3 day Nuremberg "Holz-Handwerk" woodworking show.
