This Bell Still Rings

Equi Partners enjoyed a recent visit to the Seaside and Mission in Carmel, CA. This property has been in existence since late 1700s. Spainiards, Native Americans, horses, and oxen worked this land for Padre Junipero Sera. Interesting in that over 4,000 Native Americans were baptized catholic at the mission between 1770-1836.

It is rich with history and a beauty unique. The essence and aura of people starting a colony based on faith surrounds the place!

I felt a renewed appreciation for peoples' faith, equines, livestock, and their resilience. Imagine the coastal land when it was raw/untouched and dreams were being forged.

Super hard work with ingenuity, blood, sweat , and no doubt tears, have left stone and spirits standing here.
