Mark Sheridan
Mark's accomplishments: Trainer, AQHA Judge, Coach, Competitor, Clinician Over 28 years producing winning all around show horses. Trained four AQHYA Reserve World Champions in both English and Western Divisions Four time judge AQHA World Championship Show.
Tip # 1, There are three main parts to the lead change, and all three are equally important. One without the others will only set you back
Tip # 2, Learn to develop feel so that lead changes become very easy for you and your horse. Most people ride and do not really pay attention to what the horse is actually doing with their legs and feet!
Tip # 3. Learn to develop timing so that you actually are asking the horse to change at the appropriate time. This involves weight distribution and much more!

Did you know Mark's other passion is Mountaineering? I am talking extreme and radical scaling and descent off major Mountains and Peaks! We had to laugh as Mark prefers to climb up mountains and I prefer to ski down them. Look at some great photos on his site.
