OUR
VOLUNTEERS ARE ROCK SOLID
Saturday, April 24th
Phoenix campaign headquarters held a phone rally. Volunteers filtered in throughout the day, some volunteering for the first time, to make phone calls to Arizona Republicans. Volunteers aged 15 to octogenarians rallied
on the phones contacting hundreds about J.D.
Volunteers received door prizes, refreshments, and had a lot of fun.
An easy and fun phone polling system is on the ready for volunteers to drop in Monday through Saturday 9 AM until 6 PM to call registered Republicans.
Last weekend volunteers attended the
Crossroads of the West Gun Show, Pima County Fair, and participated in the Smart Girls Politics Border Clean-up. We want to thank Jim Alberts and Jill Henderson for organizing volunteers for all of these events.
On Saturday, J.D. was able to make an appearance at the Crossroads of the West Gun Show where the excitement in the building was
electrifying! Grassroots supporters are the lifeblood of the J.D. for Senate Campaign. Each day they bring in smiles and willingness to work. Were it not for volunteers we might still be in the dark. Volunteers have done everything from installing electrical and phone equipment to processing donations and stuffing envelopes. Each job is equally important. Please stop by any time to volunteer, ask for Becky or Tysen when you come in.

The Week in Review
JD QUALIFIES FOR THE
BALLOT
![Edit Image Petition Submission at SOS](http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs074/1103180196291/img/13.jpg?a=1103348134751) On Monday, J.D. and Mary submitted petitions to the Arizona Secretary of State to qualify for the Republican Primary ballot. Television, radio, and
print reporters gathered as J.D. and Mary thanked the hundreds of volunteers who
helped gather over 11,000 signatures from all 15 Arizona counties.
During the press conference, J.D. re-extended his invitation to Sen. McCain for a series of debates in every county of Arizona. To date, John McCain has refused to accept J.D.'s invitation.
If you still have any petitions,
please continue to collect signatures and mail them into the campaign
office by May 24th. We will be making a supplementary submission on May 26th, the final day to turn in signatures.
Please send petitions to: J.D. Hayworth 2010 Petition Coordinator PO Box 28604 Scottsdale AZ 85225 If gathering
petitions is not your thing, it's time to get out the word and get out the vote by walking your
neighborhood. Inform your neighbors
about J.D. and his great voting record as a consistent conservative, while passing out leaflets available at our offices. We need grassroots supporters like you to help get the word out about the need for a consistent conservative
in Washington D.C.
JD MEETS WITH LEADERS
OF THE NAVAJO NATION
J.D. had a great opportunity to travel to the
sovereign Navajo Nation on Monday, April 19. He addressed the Spring Session of the Navajo
Nation's legislative branch where he was met with support by the Navajo Council who voted overwhelmingly to
accept his report.
While he was there he had an
opportunity to visit the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital a hospital
that as a Congressman, J.D. Hayworth helped get funding for. Dr. Franklin
Freeland, hospital CEO, thanked J.D. for his support to the Navajo
Nation while he was in the U.S. House of Representatives.
MAJOR GROWTH AND
PROGRESS In the past ten weeks over 6,000 bumper
stickers and 2,000 yard signs have been distributed throughout the state and nation. More bumper stickers and yard signs are on order, so stop by to pick one up for you and your neighbor.
In the coming days and weeks, be on the lookout for large J.D. Hayworth signs posted along busy streets.
Announcing the opening of our Tucson office! Supporters in Southern Arizona can now get their J.D. fix at our new Tucson office. Call (520) 829-0819 for hours. We need volunteers to help staff the office, so call today!
