Campaign Strategy Update:

  • Election Day (8.24.10) is 165 days from today.
  • Grassroots outreach is in progress to the nearly 600,000 Pinellas voters.
  • Regularly speaking with community organizations about their concerns.
  • Our +625 Facebook fans and dozens of campaign volunteers are helping us deliver our message.
  • 18 days left until the end of the current fundraising cycle and we are closing in on our goal for the reporting period.
  • We have 2 opponents and more are likely to file in the coming weeks.

 

Why Does the School Board Matter?

  • $1.5-billion annual budget (that's your tax dollars)
  • 17,000 school district employees (largest employer in Pinellas)
  • 105,000 students (our children and our future workforce)

 

What Results are Needed?

  • Maximum Student Safety.
  • Students Prepared for Jobs of the Future.
  • High School Graduation Rate Improved.
  • Student Achievement Gap Closed.

 

Will You Help Us Win?
