Campaign Strategy Update:

Day (8.24.10) is 165 days from today.
- Grassroots
outreach is in progress to the nearly 600,000 Pinellas voters.
- Regularly
speaking with community organizations about their concerns.
- Our +625 Facebook fans and dozens of campaign volunteers are helping us deliver our
message.
- 18
days left until the end of the current fundraising cycle and we are
closing in on our goal for the reporting period.
- We
have 2 opponents and more are likely to file in the coming weeks.
Why Does the School
Board Matter?
- $1.5-billion
annual budget (that's your tax dollars)

school district employees (largest employer in Pinellas)

students (our children and our future workforce)
