Rep Team SampleAttention High School Volleyball Players
Question:  How can you improve your indoor game by one full year in only two months?
Answer: Play beach volleyball twice a week this summer.  You will get more 'touches' playing beach for two months than you do playing indoor for a full season.  We strongly recommend the monthly beach clinic, twice per week, 3 - 5 pm session (tends to all be high school students).  If you are really keen, register for the three times per week option.

Terrel

A hitter's secret
When the hitter does not receive a decent set, he or she should try to direct the ball to the other team's setter or to position #1.

Volleyball

Passing - Real life situation during practice
After players have learned the basics of passing and are passing with some success in practice, coaches should have their players pass with 2 or 3 players at the net screening them.  This creates a more game-like situation that passers almost always face in competition but do not always experience in practice.

Coach and Former Pakmen Player Jessy Satti

Jessy

Jessy Satti started his volleyball career playing for the David Leeder Middle School grade 7 and 8 teams. His team won the Peel South title both years. He then joined the Pakmen 14U team as a right side player helping his team win the 14U Ontario Provincial Championship. That summer, he was introduced to beach volleyball and with his partner, Kadeem Clarke, he won five beach volleyball tournaments including 14U Ontario Provincial Beach Championships.  The next year, he moved to the setter position and led his team to GOLD at the Ontario Provincial Championships.  At 16U, he led his team to GOLD at the National Championships and won GOLD with Kadeem again at the 16U Beach Provincial Championships.  At 17U his team went undefeated winning every tournament including the 17U Provincial Championships.  His OVA career was capped off in his final year, 18U winning GOLD at the Can-Am Invitational and the 18U Canadian National Championships. Jessy was the setter
and captain of one of the finest teams ever in OVA history and one of the winnningest players ever.

He is currently setting for the York University Lions and coaching our beach volleyball players. His coaching record is as impressive as his playing record.  At the last OVA beach tournament, his players won every single age category at the tournament.

Jessy also coaches in our Sunday Development League, Champions League and GTA Premier League programs.  He is known for his knowledge of the game, calm demeanour, and his ability to get the most out of his teammates and players.
