Petty Nominated for a Community Hero Award
The MHS Movement Toward a Future mentoring program connects high school at-risk students with volunteer mentors who provide a positive influence, resulting in better grades, better choices and a better life. Coordinator Dena Petty was nominated as a local hero and awarded $5,000 by Safeco Insurance to fund program. Good news!! Seniors Receive $583,150 in Scholarships The MHS class of 2012 student recipients received a total of $583,150 for academic and athletic scholarships.
