PettyPetty Nominated for a Community Hero Award
The MHS Movement Toward a Future mentoring program connects high school at-risk students with volunteer mentors who provide a positive influence, resulting in better grades, better choices and a better life. Coordinator Dena Petty was nominated as a local hero and awarded $5,000 by Safeco Insurance to fund program.  Good news!!   Click here to VOTE DAILY until June 25 to help Dena win an additional $10,000 to expand the program to other schools.
Seniors Receive $583,150 in Scholarships

You're Invited! Zombie Teacher Project Festival
Bring lawn chairs and snacks to the Film Festival and Awards at Hawkins Springs Park on Saturday, June 23 at 8:30 p.m.  The Audience can vote for the Teachers' Choice Award and watch the winning videos on the City's outdoor jumbo screen.
