June 2011 National Senior Focused eNewsletter For Older Adults, Boomers, Seniors and their Families From Seniors Resource Guide |
Greetings!
This is our National Senior-Focused eNewsletter for older adults, boomers, seniors and their families.
What are we all about? This eNewsletter is about sharing and learning about senior resources and issues through the Internet and ultimately connecting older consumers with resources and providers so they can age well. Surfing the Internet to research is great but remember to use the tried and true technique of picking up the phone and calling. And if your search involved the Seniors Resource Guide website please let the provider know that.
A Suggestion: Local senior fairs and expos are excellent locations for learning about senior resources and so are events hosted by local senior housing providers. If you are looking for local senior-oriented events, type Senior Events "Your City" or Senior News "Your City" in your favorite search engine and browse the results. Try some variations on the search phrase, even using your county or nearby larger cities. Many organizations that sponsor large and small local senior fairs and expos have websites.
