The Colorado Commission on Aging is hosting "Celebrating a Lifetime" for seniors 100 years or older. Events include a breakfast buffet, musical entertainment, and a presentation to each centenarian of a certificate signed by the Governor. A photograph will be taken and printed for each person to take home. staff members will compete during a two-hour cooking contest focusing on
healthy fare for seniors. Events will also feature a gourmet food
tasting where participants will receive a sample tasting of the dishes
prepared in the competition. Ultimate Chef America attendees will be
able to join in the event by gaining a close-up look at the competitors
and the fast-paced competition. In addition to the cooking competition,
Brookdale has joined with several national partners and sponsors to be
included in a vendor expo along with a fundraiser for the Leeza Gibbons

21st Annual Salute to Seniors from The Colorado Gerontological Society

In a backdrop of the 50s and 60s, vendors and exhibitors will be in costume to evoke memories of that era. Exhibitors range from banking, long term care, and health care and home care products.
