A local nonprofit organization, Johnson Adult Day Program in Englewood, is having a breakfast meeting to share information on help for those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. The Johnson Program helps participants with cognitive, physical and social stimulation. Family caregivers gain respite from everyday care responsibilities to work, shop, recreate and renew. The AARP Tax-Aide program offers free assistance and tax prepartion to low to middle income individuals and those 60 and over. In certain areas the assistance is one-on-one counseling and there is also phone and online assistance for individuals to prepare prepare basic tax forms.
